PREVENTATIVE CARE
We recommend for individuals and families to book biannual visits for a check up and clean for preventative care. This is vital for maintaining good oral health care and to prevent further issues from escalating. A check up and clean will involve a careful general examination (that may require X-rays), as well as a thorough scaling and cleaning. The cleaning is usually finished with a prophylactic polish.
Healthy teeth for life requires good home oral hygeine, a good balanced diet, and regular visits to the dentist.
ENDODONTIC- ROOT CANAL THERAPY
Nowadays, we can save a lot of teeth from extractions with Root Canal Therapy. This therapy involves the dentist removing the damaged (or dead) pulp from the root canals of the tooth. The canals are then disinfected and then sealed with a root canal filling material.
IMPLANTS
Implants are the ultimate solution for patients suffering from missing a single tooth to multiple teeth. Implants are placed in the jaw bone, acting as “screws” at the site of the missing teeth. They act as very strong support for the prosthetic crowns or bridges that are attached to these implants.
CROWN AND BRIDGE
When a tooth is heavily filled (large fillings) or has had Root Canal treatment, we recommend a porcelain crown to replace the tooth. The crown will provide reinforcement and reduce the chance of the tooth fracturing. A bridge is several crowns joined together to replace a missing tooth.
Our Dentists are proficient at designing natural-looking crowns and bridges.
TEETH WHITENING
We recommend the Nitewhite take home kit or our in-chair Zoom whitening system.

We are able provide no gap dental services for children who are eligible for the Medicare Dental Benefits Scheme. This means there are no out of pocket costs for services provided under that scheme. Services such as check up and cleaning, x-rays, fillings, and extractions are covered at no cost to the patient.
Our new surgery has a special child friendly play area to entertain families with young children.
Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a new child dental program that provides eligible children and teenagers aged 2 to 17 with up to $1000, capped over two consecutive calendar years, for basic dental services. Eligible families, teenagers and approved care organizations will receive a letter from the Australian Government to confirm eligibility.
If your child is eligible, all you need to do is call us to book an appointment.

DENTURES
Our dentists are highly skilled at designing and fitting removable and full dentures. Dentures are an affordable option to replace a missing tooth (or teeth). We can design the dentures to fit accurately. We pride ourselves on our ability to make dentures look and feel natural and are comfortable to wear.
VENEERS (or LAMINATES)
Veneers are an effective cosmetic procedure in which thin tooth coloured porcelain or composite resin facings are bonded to the front of one or more teeth. Veneers are more conservative than dental crowns and can be a good cosmetic dental option for patients who are concerned about gaps, stains or discolourations, broken or chipped teeth, crowding, oddly shaped or misaligned teeth. Our dentists can help you achieve a perfect smile with this kind of cosmetic procedure.
